PHOENIX, Arizona (September 29, 2006) – GateWay Community College today announced the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) program has been accredited by the Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA). GateWay’s program is now the only accredited program of its kind in Arizona.
The first-time accreditation for GateWay as a public post-secondary program will extend through 2011 for the following evaluated training areas:
• Residential Heating and Air Conditioning
• Light Commercial Heating and Air Conditioning
• Commercial Refrigeration
GateWay offers a Certificate and Associate Degree in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating and Facilities, supplying the industry with much-needed graduates into a growing industry.
