GATEWAY TO CELEBRATE STUDENT SUCCESS AT SPRING COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES 

PHOENIX, Arizona – April 26, 2006 – GateWay Community College (GWCC) will recognize the hard work of more than 1,400 degree and certificate recipients at this year’s Commencement Ceremony held at the Dodge Theater on May 12 at 7 p.m.

The Nursing Department at GWCC will host the Pinning Ceremony at 3 p.m. on May 12 for GWCC nursing students who graduated from the Maricopa Community College District Nursing Program.

GateWay Early College High School, housed on GWCC’s campus, will also celebrate graduation on May 17 at 7 p.m. at GateWay Elementary School.

What: 
The Commencement Ceremony is held in honor of the more than 497 degree and 938 certificate recipients from
GWCC. More than 1400 students will walk the stage of the Dodge Theatre displaying their enthusiasm and quest for a brighter future now equipped with the knowledge and skill needed to excel in today’s workforce.

The graduates of GWCC have achieved success; however, that does not mean learning is done. Any student can enroll now in summer and fall classes at GWCC. Whether just beginning or continuing education, GWCC has a variety of classes to offer.
