WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP GROUP HOSTS WOMEN’S EXPO ON GATEWAY’S CAMPUS
PHOENIX, Arizona – March 17, 2006 – The Women’s Leadership Group (WLG) of GateWay Community College (GWCC) will host the Women’s Expo on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 10am to 2pm in the Center for Student Life on GateWay’s campus.
The Women’s Expo is designed to provide women in the community an opportunity to research educational programs, explore new career paths, and devote time to their wellbeing. It is a unique occasion in which women young and old may learn more about health issues and concerns, enhance their self-esteem and build on personal skills, interests and goals.
WLG is working with the Maricopa Skill Center and the GWCC Career Center in order to deliver a full agenda of enrichment experiences.
Activities include:
- 10 minute chair massages
- Spinal Mapping
- Nutritional Information
- Blood pressure checks and information
- Discovery of Educational Programs
- Career Exploration
- Resume Review
This event is free with minimal charges for some services and is open to the public.
GateWay Community College is located at 108 N. 40th Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85034. The major cross streets are Van Buren Street and 40th Street.
