GATEWAY COMMUNITY COLLEGE OFFERING INFORMATION SECURITY COURSES
PHOENIX, Arizona – February 22, 2006 – GateWay Community College today announced it will offer entry-level Information Security courses this spring for interested individuals. The courses, part of the curriculum for GateWay’s Information Security program, are offered in shorter, 8-week formats and begin in March and April.
Courses include:
- Information Security Policy Development ITS170, starting on March 21
- Information Security Awareness ITS100, starting on April 8
- Information Security Legal, Ethical & Regulatory Issues ITS120, starting on April 3
- Operating System Security ITS130, starting on April 4
Additionally, GateWay offers over 85 certificate, associate degree and university transfer programs including programs in Health Science, Nursing, Math/Science, Industrial Technology, Environment, Business and Computers, and Liberal Arts.
Registration can be completed in-person, on the phone, by fax or mail or at www.gatewaycc.edu on the Web. Tuition is $60 per credit hour for Maricopa County residents, tuition and fees subject to terms and changes.
GateWay is located at 40th Street and Washington in Phoenix.
