Learn More/Live Better Annual Fund

Learn More/Live Better Annual Fund

GateWay is kicking-off the 2008-2009 school year with its inaugural Learn More/Live Better Annual Fund Campaign. This multi-dimensional effort will support student success and top-notch academic programs, while addressing the critical needs of higher education. With the cost of education on the rise and state and federal investment in education decreasing, private funds are crucial to maintaining academic excellence while advancing to meet 21st Century workforce needs.

Among others, an expanded resource base allows GateWay to augment financial aid with additional funds for students, to supplement the cost of starting new academic programs and services, to maintain and update cutting-edge technology and training equipment necessary for revolutionary workforce preparation, and to preserve an attractive campus as the foundation for a productive educational experience.

Be assured that, in addition to advancing your personal philanthropic goals, your contribution will a have a lasting impact on students and their experience at GateWay. Your support today will allow the College to educate the leaders of tomorrow.

Investment Opportunities

The following Investment Opportunities have been identified to help you direct your contribution to an area of the College that is most meaningful to you.

Student Support: Funds to help students get through school.  Investments in this area focus on providing all students with access to a quality education whether they are pursuing a degree or seeking new job skills. Resources for student scholarships, athletics, student clubs, library resources, disability services, and others, support student learning and growth both inside & outside of the classroom.

Academic Support: Resources to start new academic programs and to enhance existing programs and services. Investments in this area may support new curriculum development; unique instructional tools; the transfer of courses to various learning formats including on-line, hybrid, and learning communities; faculty enrichment opportunities to foster innovative educational techniques, to name a few.

Equipment & Facilities Support: New equipment and updated facilities to help the College meet the needs of a growing student body, a changing community and expanded programs and services. Investments in this area may include campus beautification, classroom equipment, expert technology, laboratory renovations, structural changes required to support industry training tools, to name a few.

College Support: Allows the College to invest in areas of greatest need. Discretionary income is necessary to supplement diminishing traditional sources of funding in order to maintain maximum student success and access.
